Inspection

  • Inspection of hospital/institute
    • Application forms for hospital recognition & teacher recognition are available on the ISCCM website  www.isccm.org or are available on request from the ISCCM course coordinator
    • Duly filled application forms along with details of the institute and bio-data of the teacher/s with a covering  letter requesting for inspection should be sent to the ISCCM course coordinator
    • The ISCCM course coordinator in consultation with the ISCCM education sub-committee appoints 2  inspectors who will scrutinize the application & make an on-site inspection visit.
    • The travel & stay of the inspectors is looked after by the unit desiring recognition. There is no inspection fee  charged in any form for recognition of units.
    • The inspection report will be tabled at the next ISCCM education sub-committee meeting and the unit will be  sent the inspection report.
    • Once recognition is granted units may start taking candidates from the same academic year if the process is  completed in the 1st half of the academic session (28th Feb or 31st August) or the next academic  session if the process is completed later.
    • In case units do not meet the criteria, re-application after fulfilling criteria will be required followed by a
       re-inspection as detailed above
    • All appeals regarding the inspection report or recognition will be put up at the ISCCM executive committee
    • The decision of the ISCCM executive committee will be final in all respects
